McChesney Electric, Inc
Electrician
Closed · opens 8:00 AMMcChesney Electric, Inc is an electrician in Downtown Ferndale, MI, known for residential and commercial electrical and lighting work across the Detroit Tri-County area. Based at 22036 Woodward Ave, the company handles projects that customers describe ranging from small household electrical jobs to whole-house rewiring. Customer accounts include replacing fuses with breakers, bringing outside service up to code, eliminating knob-and-tube wiring in a 1920s house, and installing basement outlets and lights after a flood. Hours run Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with weekends closed. Onsite services are available, but online estimates are not; the company has a phone and website. Professionalism, thorough work, and prompt responses recur in customer comments, including reports of same-day and next-day visits, though those are individual experiences rather than a guaranteed schedule. Customers also mention cleanup after work. One neighbor’s account raises a contrasting concern about early-morning power-tool noise and the handling of a complaint.
